Looking for an Executive Healthcare Recruiter and an IT Recruiter in Worthington

The Company

This is the best time to be in the recruiting industry.  We have more business then we can handle.  Executive Staffing Solutions is a national recruiting firm located in Worthington.  We work as a team of 10 and are adding 2-3 more members to address the demands of our booming business.  You will not need to bring in business when you start here.  Rather, you will work on other people’s open jobs.  These jobs are from long time customers who have a track record of filling positions through us.

Position Overview

The recruiter is responsible for identifying candidates for client openings as well as identifying new companies to provide recruiting services for.  The focus of this position is to identify candidates who match the requirements expressed by the client.

Performance Objectives

  1. Talking on the phone and building relationships.  The primary objective in the first year is to establish and build as many relationships as possible with both potential candidates and potential client companies.  During the first 6 months, the recruiter is expected to establish 80 – 90 new contacts with potential candidates and potential clients each week.
  2. Planning and follow through.  Given the critical needs of client companies, the recruiter will need to develop recruiting plans to complete recruiting assignments.  Each day the recruiter will be expected to have a list of priorities to be completed that day.
  3. Time management and prioritizing tasks.  Recruiters must be able to prioritize and commit to completing essential tasks, yet be flexible to respond to unexpected phone calls or situations.
  4. Clearly communicate.  Communication skills are essential to the success of a recruiter.  Articulate, clear and concise communication is necessary to succeed.  In addition, the recruiter must understand their social style as well as other people’s social style in order to communicate as effectively as possible with each person they come in contact with.
  5. Quick thinker.  Each day the recruiter will be speaking with people at various levels within different companies and industries.  The recruiter must know how to ask questions and be a good listener.  Reading and willing to learn from co-workers will dramatically help the recruiter improve the learning curve.
  6. Follow through on commitments.  Since recruiters make commitments such as sending an email or making a phone call at a specific time, following through on these commitments is imperative to a recruiter’s long-term success.
  7. Committed to personal success.  The recruiter controls his success by his effort and willingness to listen and learn.  A recruiter who has pride, determination and a passion for success will achieve his personal financial goals within the first year of employment.
  8. Handle Adversity.  Candidates and clients do not always live up to their verbal commitments.  Positively, responding to difficult situations and seeking out amiable solutions will help the recruiter through difficult times.

 Basic Requirements

Sales experience and/or recruiting experience are preferred but not required.  Someone with no experience must be have demonstrated exceptional success in previous positions as well as demonstrated quickly getting up to speed.

A college degree is also preferred.
