Barbara Bruno

Barbara Bruno is president and owner of HR Search, Inc. and Good As Gold Training, Inc.   For the past thirty years, Barbara has worked in all segments of the recruiting and staffing profession including direct, temporary, contract, and retained search.  She is also one of the leading recruiting, sales, management, motivational, and internationally renowned training professionals today.

Barbara has addressed audiences in North America, Asia, Africa and Europe.  She is known for the wealth of information she shares in her sessions.  Barbara is an experienced sales manager who implements what she teaches!  Her enthusiasm is contagious and her unique sense of humor makes learning fun.   She writes for eleven national publications monthly including her “Ask Barb” column in the Fordyce Letter.  She also writes the most widely read online newsletter for recruiters - NO BS Newsletter.  She has been quoted in The Staffing Industry Report, Chicago Tribune, New York Times, USA Today and numerous National Magazines.

Her awards include the highest national honor – The Harold B. Nelson Award.  She was inducted into NAPS Hall of Fame, and also received top honors from two States – The Lincoln Award in Illinois and the Ancil T. Brown Award in Indiana.  Barbara was also honored recently as a Woman of Merit in Indiana.

Greg Doersching

Greg Doersching is Managing Partner and Founder of The Griffin Search Group, National Search Firm working in the direct hire placement industry. He is an active recruiter who still runs a highly productive desk. Day to day he is in the trenches just like the rest of us. He also developer and Chief Architect of the highly successful Bullseye Recruiting Process.

For the past 15 years Greg has been recognized as one of the most cutting edge voices in the recruiting industry. He is an International Trainer and has presented dozens of workshops and Keynote Addresses for the National Association of Personnel Services, American Staffing Association and the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services and numerous Regional, State and Local groups. He currently consults with many nationally known staffing and recruiting agencies where he helps these firms improve their overall recruiting process. He is an expert in creating and establishing Direct Hire and Contract recruiting divisions, his knowledge and process have taken contract and temporary firms to new levels of productivity. Barbara Oney has been a leader and innovator in business management, marketing and business alliances for over 25 years. Ms. Oney has held senior positions in leading multi-national corporations where her “intrapreneurial” work served to grow multi-million dollar divisions.  She is also a serial Entrepreneur having formed leader in management, sales, marketing, entertainment and tourism.  

Ms. Oney is currently CEO/Founder of the UNCOMN.TV Network LLC, parent company to Got*City GAME! - a web-based talent attraction initiative using digital technology to promote the career, education and neighborhood assets of Northeast Ohio cities.  On behalf of Got*City Game!, Ms Oney is a recipient of the Cleveland Foundation’s Civic Innovation Lab Grant; was named “Hero to the Region” by the Employers Resource Council for the show’s talent attraction impact (ERC, largest HR organization in NEO); and has received Scene Magazine’s “Best of Cleveland” for “Craziest idea that just might work”.   Most recently the company was awarded the GLIDE Innovation Fund Grant, a Third Frontier funded early stage fund for innovative technology companies with the potential for rapid growth and job creation in Northeast Ohio.  And, in January, the company received the TITC Ohio status, (Technology Investment Tax Credit). This award is granted to promising emerging technologies and provides a 25% tax credit to investors in the company.
