Jim Vassar’s career in the workers’ compensation industry began in 1992 when he was hired as a marketing representative for OCS Management Corporation.
During his career with OCS and subsequently The ASU Group, Jim served as Director of Operations, Vice President and lastly Vice President, Claims Services. Jim’s primary duties focused on client and staff retention as well as handling the administrative duties of the company.
Jim graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Business Administration. In 1999 he passed the Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification and in 2005, Jim received the 20 under 40 leadership award. He is an Acting Board Member of the Workers’ Comp Forum and the Past President of the Toledo Area Human Resources Association. Jim is also a proud member of the
Toledo Rotary Club and presently serves on the Board of Directors.
